How to read these scores
First round or last round?
This is the first-round cut-off: the lowest score admitted in the first list. For EU applicants the ranking moves every week and, in recent years, the cut-off fell between the first and the last round at almost every university: in 2025, it fell at 13 of 15 (by up to 5.0 points) and stayed the same at 2; in 2024, it fell at all of them, by 0.4 to 3.7 points. That is what happened, not a forecast. The 2025 figures for each university are in the “2025: first round vs last round” table, just below the EU list.
EU, equivalent or non-EU?
EU applicants and those treated as EU compete in a single national ranking. Non-EU applicants living outside Italy compete only at the university of their pre-enrolment, in a separate list.
Why are 2023 scores so low?
The exam was much harder (average 24.7). That's why we compare 2023 by exam level, not by points.
Why did the 2026 cut-offs rise?
Scores rose for all candidates (average from 40.5 to 49.3). A higher cut-off alone doesn't mean it got harder to get in.
Where do I see my official result?
EU and equivalent: in your reserved area on Universitaly. Non-EU: in the list of the university where you pre-enrolled (the link is on each university's card when the list is public).
